Many people in Japan still sleep on a futon on top of tatami mats. In the West, a futon is usually a sofa bed, but a Japanese futon is very different.
A futon consists of two parts: a shikibuton and a kakebuton. The shikibuton is the mattress, and the Kakebuton is the quilt.
We import limited quantities of futon from Osaka and sell them all in sets or individually. These are the only futon in Australia that were made in Japan.
