Courier

For domestic shipping (excluding most chests and tables) we use a variety of couriers depending on the type of freight and/or destination. The zones listed below may not include some remote locations within that locality. So if you live in an outer suburb/small town within one of these zones then please ask for a quote using the name and postcode of the destination address.

Domestic shipping of for materials/kimono/obi or some small dinnerware items is done with courier satchels and charged depending on weight/volume at $11.95 (to major centres only), $15.95 or $19.95. Overnight Priority Satchels to any major destination $35 for up to 3kgs. We now ship satchels to NZ $20/kg (min charge is for 1kg)

* Consignments sent without an Authority To Leave (ATL) maybe subject to a re-delivery fee if no-one is there to accept the goods or the courier cannot gain access to the property. A re-delivery fee is typically $33 which is payable to Japanache prior to delivery. We can only request a call or text to say it is on-board for delivery NOT that they are on approach.

** These are estimates based on what our carriers quote. We do not guarantee delivery within that window. There are many unforeseen factors that can affect delivery times.

We recommend a removalist if you have furniture or a large number of items. We have a few which we use for most major centres in Australia.
