One of the most iconic compositions from Hiroshige’s Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō. This print, known as Fuji on the Left, depicts the unique section of the journey where the road bends, placing Mount Fuji on the traveller's left. The scene features a beautiful procession of travellers and packhorses moving through a grove of pine trees set against the vast rice fields. This Shōwa-era woodblock is a faithful reproduction, showcasing the vibrant colours and the masterful use of perspective that made the original series a masterpiece of Ukiyo-e.
