This refined mask represents Inadahime (Princess Inada), hand-carved by the celebrated Okayama master Yokota Seiki. Crafted from seasoned Kiri wood, it captures the classical beauty of the Bitchū Kagura tradition with its characteristic 'high-brow' aesthetic and blackened teeth (ohaguro). The reverse displays a deep, authentic patina and bears the artist's hand-carved signature, "Seiki." A significant piece of Japanese folk-theatre history, designed by a master who was both a carver and a performer.
